The National Weather Service is forecasting a major storm for Santa Barbara County that is expected to occur Tuesday, December 23 through Thursday, December 25. Light rain is possible Sunday, December 21 and Monday, December 22. The following conditions are possible:
- Flooding in low-lying areas
- Flash flooding
- Strong winds
A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire county Tuesday, December 23 at 4:00pm, through Wednesday, December 24 at 10:00pm. A High Wind Watch is also in effect for the entire county Tuesday, December 23 at 12:00pm through Thursday, December 25 at 3:00pm.
